Highly recommended!

Diane Rossi's style is quite similar to one of my favorite authors, Robert Ludlum, who also ends almost every staccato - like chapter in cliffhanger fashion. Ms. Rossi apparently has taken advantage of her abundant school experience and used many of the personalities that make up a school's faculty to make an extremely enjoyable novel.

As I began to read Diane Rossi's new novel, I started to think that this was one of those hard to come by stories that was so totally engaging that each new happening had me waiting eagerly to find out what would happen next. The book is straightforward and readable with complex descriptions of the inside workings of a school and the various entanglements among the Principal, Assistant Principal, Custodians, and teachers and their spouses (not to mention the medical staff).
The book was fast paced and suspenseful. The characters were more than interesting; they were incredibly true-to-life. Each chapter ended on a cliff hanger with the next chapter beginning with another character, leaving you anxious to know what was the fate of the one at the end of the last chapter. But the following one returned to resolve the tension before bringing it back in another form with another character and surprise relationship.
There were so many twists and turns throughout the book, that I found myself waiting for time during the day when I could continue reading. And rest assured, the book ends on a satisfying note with all of the plots, and sub-plots nicely resolved. Bravo, Ms. Rossi. I, for one, will be waiting for the next installment, or your new book, whichever comes first.

Oh noo! This is too much on my heart. I hope Violet is ok. I really want her to leave Miguel the hell alone. He keeps running back to Faith so let them be. He sees what he lost out on and it will hurt him even more if Violet moves on with Dom. I hope somebody puts a bullet in Faiths head real quick I'm so over her. I love Hazel. Please come on with part 2.

When is enough, enough already, how many times is Violet going to keep putting up with Miguel bull s***. Please let Dom be there to help her through and let Miguel ass feel what Violet felt, he and faith need to take a long run on a short bridge, yea I'm in my feels about this book man oh man it was sooooo good waiting on the next part :)
